Head to Adelaide’s east parklands for family friendly fun and equestrian action at the Qantas Cross Country Day Saturday 17th November. Bring the kids for a day out to watch these elite horses in action and feel the thunder of the horses’ hooves as they jump their way around Rymill and Victoria Parks only a stone throw from the Adelaide CBD.
Kids 12 and under are free on Saturday and general admission tickets start at only $30. So much going on throughout the day with rider meet and greets, a Kids Corral activity area with face painting, bouncy castle, hobby horse mini cross country course and more.
‘Eventing’ is considered the triathlon of horse sports where the world’s best horses and riders compete in dressage, cross country and show jumping, with each horse and its rider competing in all three phases over the three days. The Adelaide Aus3DE is the only four-star event held in the Southern Hemisphere.

Victoria Park is the heart of the equestrian event, with grandstands and marquees overlooking the main arena and visitors can get up close to see the riders and horses in action from many picturesque locations around the Cross Country Course from Victoria Park through to Rymill Park. Rymill Lake is home to the exciting water complex and there are so many other wonderful locations in the east parklands to watch from. Families can enjoy a picnic atmosphere while getting up close and personal to all the equestrian action.
Situated perfectly in the Adelaide CBD, the Mitsubishi Motors Australian International 3 Day Event provides an amazing weekend of entertainment with a great atmosphere, that continues to draw people from all over the State, Australia and the world to attend.
The event kicks off on Thursday 15 November to Sunday 18 November at Victoria Park, in the city’s East End.
